UKPPG Windsocks are Not designed as Heavy Duty Commercial Aviation Polyester Windsocks, they are however designed for Ultralight and Footlaunch Aviation (and many other applications) due to our material being high grade Ripstop Nylon which is a much Lighter material and which indicates lower windspeeds more acurately than the heavy weight polyester. If you intend to permanently install one of our windsocks on site then we recommend that it is regularly treated with our 303 UV Protection product (See our 303 Listings) to prolong the fading effect which naturally occurs in daylight.
